SUBMISSION TYPES:
Instructional Course: The purpose of an instructional course is to provide Training/instruction in new knowledge/skills (attendees will develop new competencies that can be applied in practice or research).Symposium: In-depth information communication/knowledge translation (course is intended primarily to impart information).
Intensive Cross Cutting Symposium, Lightning Round or Poster Session: Cross-cutting integrated presentations with the objective of aligning a variety of disciplines across a common theme or topic.
Topics for 2019 are:
- Caregiving for Individuals with Chronic Illness or Injury
- Approaches to Sensory Motor Recovery and Function
- Changing the narrative to hope: Maximizing brain health, function and participation following Brain Injury
Scientific Poster and Papers : A scientific paper is a moderated oral presentation of 17 minutes including questions and discussion. Posters are graphic presentations of a scientific paper. Submissions must include objectives, hypotheses, methodology, and results in the abstract.
Launchpad : A Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Competition. An annual competition created to highlight innovative rehabilitation technologies developed by non-profit research and engineering labs and startup companies.
