Thank you for visiting the 2018 CMP Conclave proposal submission site. Submitters will be notified of the status of their submission by the end August.
The CMP certification was created to enhance the knowledge and performance of meeting professionals and this year’s theme of the conference --
Contribute l Inspire l Elevate -- reinforces that mission. Today, the CMP credential is recognized globally as the badge of excellence in the meeting, convention, exhibition, and event industry with over 10,000 CMPs globally.
The CMP Conclave is the only conference developed by and exclusively for CMPs! All education must align with one of the
nine domains found in the CMP International Standards.
Presentations will be peer-reviewed and the review process consists of evaluating presentations based content, session design and creativity, relevance of topic to the industry, presenter expertise, and clarity of description.
The CMP Conclave adheres to the APEX Green Standards and strives to be a paperless meeting. Handouts are encouraged and will be distributed electronically to registered attendees. By submitting a presentation you grant Events Industry Council the right to record your session and provide and release associated presentation and handout files in electronic format (PDFs) through the conference mobile app.
Note: Events Industry Council does not provide monetary compensation to our speakers. In extremely limited circumstances we may be able to supplement travel expenses. CMP Conclave is 400-450 CMP professionals. It’s the only exclusive meeting of CMPs in the industry and the events professionals who attend plan innumerable conferences a year globally. We hope that speakers see value in traveling to speak to our group.
Please note: this portal is not associated with your CMP account at EventsCouncil.org. You will need a separate login to submit an abstract.
