The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) College of Fellows is a distinguished class of members in the telemedicine industry who have been selected by their peers as deserving recognition for exemplary contributions to the profession. A Fellow of the ATA is an honor bestowed on a select group of individuals who have made significant contributions to the ATA over an extended period. Induction into the College of Fellows is a great honor and distinction. It is a testament to the individual’s contribution to the ATA and in recognition of significant achievements in the field of telemedicine and telehealth, and service to the general telemedicine community.
ATA members may be elected to the College of Fellows in recognition of their significant contributions to the field of telemedicine and service to ATA. A minimum of eight years as an ATA member is required. Candidates will be evaluated by the criteria defined in the following three categories:
- Demonstrate technical contributions in telemedicine and telehealth
- Service and contributions to the telemedicine community
- Service to ATA
