NEXUS: Connecting our Communities GRA and ORR Joint Spring Meeting Call for Proposals
The Group on Resident Affairs (GRA) and Organization of Resident Representatives (ORR) Joint Program Planning Committee invites proposals for small group workshops and poster presentations at the 2019 GRA and ORR Joint Spring meeting. Together, close to 200 senior GME and 40 emerging resident leaders will focus on GME education and administration for institutional leaders overseeing accreditation, quality, and GME financing, with resident members of the ORR, the sole national invitational cross-specialty residency body focused on academic medicine.
Sessions will provide attendees an opportunity to share emerging innovations, impactful policies and practices, and efficacious approaches to sustaining a robust GME system.
The program planning committee encourages proposals that convey: relevance to academic medicine and the GME community; clarity of intent and organization; creativity and innovation; adaptability and viability of implementation at other institutions; and sustainability.
The highest preference will be given to proposals which:
are timely and topically relevant;
provide readily accessible tools or resources that facilitate implementation;
include assessment data demonstrating successful outcomes/impact, or extending post conference learning;
support the enhancement of one or more of the Competencies for Institutional GME Leaders/Designated Institutional Officials;
incorporate cross-collaboration and representation among both attending groups.
Submitters are strongly encouraged to read the Instruction Guide before logging in to submit a proposal.
